Pmise MF-05

Multifunction IPL + RF (E-light) platform

The Pmise MF-05 is a multifunction E-light platform that delivers intense pulsed light and radiofrequency energy through the same handpiece, built for clinics that want hair removal, photorejuvenation and pigment work on a single console. It's a workhorse, not a gadget. One operator, one trolley, half a dozen billable treatments.

Interchangeable cut-off filters let you move between hair reduction, skin rejuvenation and vascular indications in minutes, and the RF stage adds dermal heating that light alone can't reach. Cooling runs three ways at once: water, air and a semiconductor plate that holds the contact tip below freezing. Your clients feel a warm snap, not a burn. Two handpiece spot formats cover large areas like legs and backs as well as tighter facial zones.

We build the MF-05 for trained professionals. It's aimed at medspas, dermatology practices and the distributors who supply them. For pricing and lead times, contact our sales team.

How it works

E-light pairs two energy sources that do different jobs. The IPL side follows the principle of selective photothermolysis: filtered broadband light is absorbed by pigmented targets, chiefly melanin in hair follicles and lesions, and haemoglobin in visible vessels, which heats those targets faster than the surrounding tissue can conduct the heat away. Anderson and Parrish described this mechanism in 1983, and it still underpins how these devices are dosed today.

Where the MF-05 earns its keep is in how you shape that light. Swappable filters trim the lower end of the spectrum, so a hair-removal filter starts higher up and spares more epidermal melanin, while rejuvenation and vascular filters open a wider band to catch both pigment and haemoglobin. Each shot can be split into a first pulse and a train of sub-pulses, with widths and delays you adjust per skin type. Those gaps give the epidermis time to shed heat between bursts.

The RF stage works differently. Radiofrequency current in the low-megahertz range excites water molecules in the dermis, producing heat that doesn't depend on skin colour at all. That thermal load stimulates collagen remodelling and skin tightening, and it lets you dial back optical fluence on darker skin without giving up clinical effect. Contact cooling protects the surface throughout. This is professional equipment, and results depend on a trained operator matching parameters to each patient.

Applications

  • Unwanted hair on the face, limbs, underarms and body (see our hair removal solutions)
  • Photorejuvenation: dull tone, rough texture and early photoaging
  • Freckles, sun spots and other epidermal pigmentation
  • Diffuse redness and superficial vascular lesions
  • Active acne and post-acne marks
  • Fine lines and mild skin laxity, supported by the RF stage

The MF-05 suits clinics that need breadth rather than a single-purpose machine: a medspa building its first treatment menu, a busy practice that wants a reliable second platform, or a distributor serving both. It helps improve the conditions above; it isn't a cure-all, and candidate screening by a trained practitioner is part of every protocol.

Key advantages

  • One platform, many revenue lines. Filter changes take minutes, so a single room can run hair removal in the morning and photofacials after lunch.
  • Triple cooling: water, air and semiconductor cooling work together, holding the contact tip just below zero so the handpiece stays comfortable through long appointment blocks.
  • Imported CPC connectors and xenon lamps in the light path, chosen for consistent output over a long service life.
  • A large-format spot option clears big areas quickly, handy when you're quoting full-leg or back sessions.
  • Adjustable pulse structure. First-pulse and sub-pulse widths and delays are set independently, and our parameter charts map starting values across Fitzpatrick skin types so new operators aren't guessing.
  • RF adds colour-independent dermal heating, useful when you want tightening effect at conservative optical settings.

Frequently asked questions

Which skin types can the MF-05 treat?

Our treatment parameter guide covers Fitzpatrick types I through V, with lower starting fluence and longer pulse delays as skin gets darker. Type VI isn't recommended for the IPL modes, since epidermal melanin competes too strongly for the light. The RF stage heats independently of pigment, which gives you more room to work on darker skin. Always start conservative and titrate to the patient's response.

How many sessions do treatments usually take?

It varies by indication and by patient. Hair removal is a course, not an event: hair only responds in its growth phase, so plans built on our parameter charts run multiple visits spaced weeks apart. Pigment and vascular work typically resolves in fewer sessions, with treated pigment darkening and flaking off over roughly ten days. Set expectations honestly at consultation and you'll keep your rebooking rate healthy.

What does recovery look like after a session?

Most patients see mild redness that settles within minutes to an hour, and a brief warm sting at the treatment site. After pigment treatments, spots darken before they shed. Contact cooling keeps the surface protected during firing, but aftercare still matters: sun protection is non-negotiable, and operators should follow the intervals in the device manual. This is professional equipment intended for trained clinical use only.

Do you provide training, and what about warranty support?

Yes. Every MF-05 ships with a full operating manual and skin-type parameter charts, and we run remote training for your operators before the first patient sits down. Warranty terms, spare parts and technical support are handled by our service team , who work from the same engineering archive our factory uses. Distributors get additional commissioning documentation on request.
