Pmise CF-01

Ultrapulse CO2 fractional laser (10600nm)

The Pmise CF-01 is an ultrapulse CO2 fractional laser working at 10600nm, built for clinics and medspas that treat scars, aged skin, and stubborn textural problems. It runs three output modes from one platform: continuous wave, ultrapulse, and fractional. That means a single system covers ablative resurfacing, focused surgical work, and gentler fractional rejuvenation, so you are not buying three separate machines to cover your caseload.

At the core sits an RF-excited metal CO2 laser source. Compared with older glass-tube designs, this kind of source holds its output steadier over time and tends to last far longer, which matters when a device runs full days in a busy practice. An articulated arm delivers the beam, and the scanner keeps focal spots uniform across the treatment field.

You control spot size, spot density, and scan area to match the region and the patient in front of you. Small delicate zones and larger flat areas each get settings that fit. If you are comparing options across our lineup, see the full product range.

How it works

Here is how it works. Water is the main target. Skin is mostly water, and 10600nm light is absorbed very strongly by water in tissue, so the energy stays shallow and predictable instead of scattering deep. That absorption behavior is what makes a CO2 laser ablative rather than merely warming.

In fractional mode the beam is split into a grid of tiny columns. Each column drills a microscopic thermal channel into the skin while the tissue around it stays untouched. Only a fraction of the treated zone takes a micro-injury, so the surrounding intact skin drives a fast healing response. As those channels close, collagen reorganizes and new collagen forms. Over the following weeks the skin firms, texture smooths, and scars and pigment irregularities soften.

The idea rests on selective photothermolysis: pick a wavelength your target absorbs, then keep the pulse short enough that heat does its job before spreading to neighboring tissue. On the CF-01 the short ultrapulse output and adjustable focal spot let a trained operator dial ablation depth up or down. A smaller focal spot reaches deeper; a larger one keeps the effect shallow.

Applications

The CF-01 suits professional aesthetic and dermatologic practices whose operators are trained in ablative laser work. It is flexible enough for both resurfacing programs and focused clinical tasks.

  • Atrophic and hypertrophic scars, including acne, surgical, and burn scars (see our scar treatment solution)
  • Active-acne aftermath and pitted acne scars
  • Fine lines, deeper wrinkles, and crepey, lax skin
  • Enlarged pores, rough texture, and stretch marks
  • Epidermal pigmented lesions such as freckles and age spots
  • Photo-aged skin needing overall resurfacing
  • Minor lesions in ultrapulse or CW mode, for example skin tags and small benign growths

Key advantages

  • Three modes in one platform: continuous wave, ultrapulse, and fractional, so one device handles resurfacing, surgical incision work, and fractional rejuvenation.
  • RF-excited metal CO2 source gives more stable, uniform, and consistent output than glass-tube designs, and a markedly longer working life, which lowers total cost of ownership.
  • Scanner keeps focal spot quality even across the field, and very small focal spots let you place mild, controlled damage that still stimulates strong collagen response.
  • Adjustable spot size, spot density, and scan area let operators tune treatment to skin type, lesion, and body region, reducing overlap and easing patient discomfort.
  • Air cooling and articulated-arm delivery keep the workflow simple, with no external water supply to manage.

Frequently asked questions

What does the CF-01 treat best?

Its strongest use is scar revision and skin resurfacing. Fractional mode helps improve acne scars, surgical and burn scars, wrinkles, enlarged pores, and photo-aged skin. Ultrapulse and continuous-wave modes suit focused work on minor lesions. Results build gradually as collagen remodels, so plan treatment as a course rather than a single fix.

Which skin types is it suitable for?

Ablative CO2 treatment carries a higher risk of post-inflammatory pigment change on darker skin, so it is generally best suited to lighter skin types. A trained operator should assess each patient, adjust energy and density conservatively, and test-treat when unsure. This is professional equipment and outcomes depend heavily on operator judgement.

How many sessions will patients need?

It varies with the indication, the depth treated, and how the patient heals. Textural and scar work often needs several sessions spaced weeks apart to let skin recover between visits. Deeper single passes recover more slowly. Your clinician sets the plan; we do not promise a fixed number or guaranteed result.

What about safety, training, and warranty?

The CF-01 is a professional laser for trained operators working with proper eye protection and room safety controls. We provide operator training and a warranty; contact our team through the contact page for specifics on coverage, installation, and support in your market.
